Vision Collision Guide to Preparing Your Vehicle for Repair

Preparing Your Vehicle for Repair
We're sorry to hear your vehicle is in need of paint repair, body repair, and/or collision repair. At Vision Collision, we know the vehicle repair process is stressful and it's our goal to make the repair process as seamless as possible. For the most part, there is little you need to do other than provide signatures and payment in order to prepare your vehicle and begin the repair process.  Complete these few simple steps and your car, truck, SUV, or van will be ready for repair in our Tempe facility. •Remove all child safety and booster seats from the vehicle •Remove all firearms from the vehicle •Remove all medications from the vehicle •Remove anything else you do not want exposed to excessive heat. The finishing part of the paint process includes exposing your vehicle to very high heat to cure the paint. •Remove anything you cannot do without for a few days, including garage door remotes, cell phone chargers, backpacks and briefcases, and other personal belongings. Once the vehicle has been prepared for paint, the doors will be covered shut and we will not be able to retrieve forgotten items until after the repair process is complete. That's it! Simply take care of these details, complete the required paperwork, and your vehicle is ready to begin the repair process at the Vision Collision facility in Tempe, Arizona, where it will be processed efficiently and safely by one of our trained technicians.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
